Hula

I bought a Sugarpea pig stamp set , thinking I could use one to make a birthday card for my niece but they were smaller than I'd imagined. (Does that ever happen to you? It can be hard to tell when buying online).

So I decided to put the pig on a podium from a W plus 9 set. I added stars (brand unknown) and a Hero Arts sentiment, and coloured with Promarkers.

I'd like to enter:
Addicted to Stamps  make your mark
Seize the Birthday  animals
Cards in Envy  fave colour combo
Through the Purple Haze anything goes
Aud Sentiments  anything goes

It has happened to me often that the size of the stamp is not what I've imagined. I love your idea with the pig on the podium -I thought this was one complete stamp when I saw this! Great job, love this card!

Yes, even when the dimensions are listed I have a hard time. Sometimes the stamps are even bigger than expected!

This is adorable, I love the grey and aqua combo.

Small or nit, he's a fun, sweet pig and he looks great placed on the podium. Yup, has happened to me too, it's hard to judge the size when not holding the item in your hand.
